September 19, 2021. Common Prayer on the 17th Sunday after Pentecost

Dear Almighty God, who calls the world from the rising of the sun to the setting of the setting, and shines light in the completely beautiful Zion. We give thanks, praise and glory to God's great grace and love. On the morning of the seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost, please accept the worship of all churches around the world in spirit and truth in the Holy Spirit.

God the Father, who bestows grace and blessings on us and shines the light of the Lord's face on us. Through us, the whole world may know your will and all nations may know your salvation. Please give us the power to spread the good news of the kingdom of God and salvation to those who see but do not see and hear but do not understand.

The Son Jesus who said that these people who hear the word of God and do it are my mother and my brothers. Lead us to let go of our old habits and live according to the will of God who has called us to be free. Help us to live as new people created by the holiness of righteousness and truth, serving one another with love, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord wants us to be full of the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
